With the original designs completed I was then able to begin planning out the sentry gun in 3D space.

StartFragment This First mock up followed the concepts as closely as possible, however upon completion I found the sentry gun didn't have the feel I wanted, it was lacking the intimidation factor and industrial feel. EndFragment

StartFragmentTo create the industrial feel I changed the stand to a more heavy, robust stand. I also made the gun with dual barrels to emphasis the intimidation factor. EndFragment

StartFragmentI was happy with the final shape and feel of the gun therefore i was able to go back to photoshop and begin creating different colour variations. I kept all the parts that going to be metal grey and only wanted the outside casing of the different parts of the gun to be coloured to give the gun 'personailty'. After completing the colour variations I picked 1 and 4 as the final two, I liked 1 as it had the military look mixed in with the industrial look. 4 was in the running too due to the straight military feel. In the end I went with 1 as I felt 4 had too much of a military feel and the colour did not go with the underline sci-fi theme. EndFragment
