With the model completed and the high poly details planned out I was then able to go back on the low poly model and begin unwrapping.

With the unwrap done I was then able to bake down the high poly onto the low poly creating a normal map.

The normal map didn't come out so well in 3ds Max but whilst testing in engine (Unreal Engine 4) the normal came out to a satisfactory level.

With the normal map done and all unwraps sorted I was able to begin sorting out the base colour and slowly adding detail to the gun through all the maps going back and fourth from Photoshop, 3Ds max and Unreal Engine 4.

I was also able to add 2 Emissive maps both working as one one the blueprint allowing some sections of the model to glow in a pulsing motion and some to stay glowing at a constant rate.
